Jesus in the Passover
Our premier presentation, this service brings to life the Passover celebration. A Passover table is set with all of the elements traditionally used. We explain how Passover is celebrated today, what all of the symbolic foods represent, and how Jesus is beautifully pictured in the Passover celebration and story. Believers will come to understand the origin and meaning of the Lord’s Supper and non-believers will be challenged to receive God’s forgiveness through the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
Jesus in the Jewish Festivals
Why did God command the children of Israel to blow the shofar (the ram’s horn)? What is the scapegoat all about in Yom Kippur? Why did God command the Israelites to live in booths for seven days at the Feast of Tabernacles? What does it all mean to us as believers in Jesus? Learn how God was revealing the message of salvation through these beautiful holidays from the book of Leviticus.
Jesus in the Tabernacle
Do the lessons learned from the ancient Tabernacle of Israel communicate any truths to us today? Can we learn anything from this ancient meeting place? The Tabernacle of Israel holds many fascinating truths about God and foreshadow the Messiah that was to follow. During this service you will be confronted with God’s pattern and design for this Tent of Meeting and how it shows His character and His plan for the forgiveness of sin.
Jesus in Hanukkah
Did you know that Jesus celebrated Hanukkah? In John 10, Jesus used this ancient holiday as an occasion to teach about His deity and His position as the Messiah. Hanukkah points to Jesus and his miraculous mission here on earth.
Devoted to Israel
As children of God, we are called to follow His heart, and His heart is with Israel and the Jewish people. The Jewish prophets called Israel back to God. Jesus gave His life for them. The Apostle Paul agonized over them. By understanding these realities we learn more about our faith, our Jewish roots, and about the Jewish Jesus. It is then that we can fully know what it means to love Israel.
Israel and the Middle East in Conflict
The conflict in the Middle East is not a modern conflict. It is an ancient conflict rooted in biblical history. Hear our Jewish Christian staff put the conflict in the Middle East into a biblical perspective. “Israel and the Middle East in Conflict” is timely and relevant message that will help your church members understand how to answer the hard questions being asked by their friends and neighbors.
Building Bridges: Understanding Jewish People
Jewish people are all around. The are your friends, neighbors, business associates, doctors, lawyers. Even if you don’t know a Jewish person, Jewish people are in the Bible! AND, the Jewish people have a special place in God’s heart and plan. In the “Building Bridges” seminar we will help you to better understand the Jewish people and how to effectively communicate the Gospel to them.
Jewish Testimony / Q&A
How did a nice Jewish boy end up at Fellowship Bible Church? Hear the testimony of one of our missionaries. Learn how Jewish people come to faith. Through our testimonies we will explain what Jewish people believe about God, the Bible, the Messiah, and the afterlife. Because our testimonies raise many questions about the Jewish people and what they believe, a question and answer time will follow.
