The Jesus in Hanukkah presentation will need some preparation on the part of your church. All of the items described below will need to be prepared and ready for us at the church thirty minutes before the service. If you have any questions call us at 770-642-4706.

Instructions for Setting up the Presentation Table:

1. A six or preferably eight-foot table set up in the front of the sanctuary or

room in which the presentation will take place. The table should be

covered with a white tablecloth and have all of the same elements as the

congregants’ tables listed below.

2. Please provide a lapel microphone if available.

3. We need another eight-foot table in the foyer for books and materials.

Instructions for Setting up the Congregants’ Tables (Assuming 8 people per table)

The table may be set as simply or elaborately as you wish. We have had groups

use anything from paper plates to fine china. Most groups use very nice paper

products and plastic cups or goblets.

1. One large dinner sized plate for the center of the table. (A charger plate

also works well and can be found in stores like Party City).

2. One book of matches.

3. Pens/pencils for people to take notes.

4. Four jelly doughnuts, halved. (Can be purchased at any local donut shop,

any flavor is fine).

5. Eight drinking cups (for water or tea, etc. whatever beverage the church

decides to provide)

6. Eight dessert-sized plates.

7. Eight plastic forks

8. Eight napkins

Light of Messiah will be providing Hanukkah menorahs, candles, booklets, and

other Hanukkah-related items for the services. If congregants have their own

Hanukkah menorahs, they are welcome to bring them. We will not need any

extra media access, however if the church wants to put a Hanukkah-related

graphic on the screen they are welcome to do so.
